Specialist Jetboard & eFoil Crew Training

Ocean Performance provides specialist jetboard and eFoil crew training for superyacht captains, deck crew and watersports teams using JETSURF, AWAKE and JetWave equipment.

Our training is designed to give crew the knowledge and practical skills needed to confidently operate, demonstrate and look after the equipment onboard. Training can cover everything from product familiarisation and riding techniques to teaching guests, routine maintenance and basic repairs.

Product Familiarisation

Every jetboard and eFoil has its own controls, setup procedures, charging requirements and maintenance considerations. We provide hands-on familiarisation with the specific equipment carried onboard your yacht.

Crew may be required to demonstrate equipment or teach guests who have little or no previous experience. Our practical training covers the fundamentals of riding jetboards and eFoils, helping crew develop the confidence to demonstrate techniques and provide effective instruction.

Training can be adapted to the experience level of the crew and the equipment onboard, with an emphasis on safe operation, clear communication and appropriate progression for guests.

Teaching & Coaching Skills

Being an experienced rider does not necessarily mean being an effective instructor. We help crew understand how to introduce a new rider to jetboards and eFoils, explain the controls, demonstrate techniques and recognise common mistakes.

This can help crew deliver a more confident and enjoyable experience for owners and charter guests while following the manufacturer's operating guidance and the yacht's own safety procedures.

Maintenance, Repairs & Spare Parts

Crew training can also include practical knowledge of routine equipment care and basic maintenance.

Depending on the equipment, this may cover cleaning, inspection, identifying wear or faults, replacing selected components and understanding when a repair requires specialist attention.

We can also help crew become familiar with the spare parts and accessories relevant to their equipment, making it easier to identify components and deal with straightforward replacements when required.
